Lincoln Woods Trail (Franconia Falls)

Lincoln, New Hampshire

Sometimes the best medicine is a good, long walk in the woods. For what I assume is a reward for good behavior throughout the pandemic the White Mountain National Forest began opening some of their trails back up this past weekend. Hiking isn’t just the simple act of walking for us. It feeds our soul and gives us the energy and overall happiness we need in order to be our best selves.

Getting out into nature is the number one way we spend our time together, and all I can say is I am grateful. While this pandemic has been going on I am grateful for any access to local trails I have been able to explore. I know in many places in the world this isn’t the case right now. Thank you to the White Mountain National Forest for recognizing that those who use the mountains as their safe haven simply cannot do without it.
